Year

So, we booked with Zoom to go to Canada at Christmas and of course it went belly up. Then we booked a wee holiday to Crete to relax after a very busy summer time working and of course the flight was with XL and that went belly up!!

The money is secure and we'll eventually get that back into the account (if the banking system doesn't crash or something). Last week we finally found some sunshine in the Algarve, Portugal. Good old Easyjet, booked it, packed it and went off to a lovely hotel in the sun with four pools, a beautiful beach and a little jug of Sangria. It was a great time with Mel. We relaxed so much and fell asleep quickly at night with no thoughts or worries. I don't think it's to do with your pillow or mattress wether you sleep well or not, it's mostly to do with what's in your head when you lie down and think stuff.

Anyway, this week is a big week. It's our first wedding anniversary on Wednesday and it's also Mel's 25th birthday on Friday. I love Mel, she is beautiful and fun and full of life. She puts up with my grumpiness and impatience and makes me laugh more than is necessary. It's amazing the joy that another person can bring into your life, wether that's a spouse, family, a friend, a nephew or neice. I don't really want to get old and die but if i have to, out of all the people in the world to do that with, i choose Mel and i chose right.
