Poor Eoghan. Even though his family are clearly nationalists, maybe even republicans, because he has taken part in something British and worn an emblem which remembers Protestants and Catholics who have died in wars, the Ra are putting him under pressure.
The poor wee fella. I got hold of one of those mini flags you put on your car window this weekend. I'm not a big fan of Eoghans but it does say on it 'X Factor - vote Eoghan'. Now at first i thought this was a bit of fun but now i'm scared to put it on my car because i know that if i drive through a loyalist area, chances are, i'll get a window put through!! Such is life ... ah the peace process is alive and well.
But what chance does he really have of winning? Every chance! With Laura, the best all round singer in the competition voted off by the thick British public, maybe young Eoghan, with his bird's nest hair cut ( Louis Walsh is a wee fruit!), his poppy and his Gaelic top wearing famly, might actually win the whole thing?
One thing we can agree on, in fact even Northern Irish polititians who haven't talked for 110 days could agree on, is that if Rachel mentions her children one more time, i'm going to go mental.

I'm glad I don't watch it. Always something sad about a wannabe programme. I'm surprised to hear that n.irish politicians aren't talking to each other!!!!!!

as a social worker i can safely say that rachel sucks!! her sob story about her kids and her tough life only serves to show that her capacity to change and put her past behind her is er....NIL!!!just get on with the singin'!!

I'm glad I don't watch it, it just annoys me too much. Though, I hope Eoghan wins, just because he's from this brilliant wee country (yes, it's brilliant, even if we are all stupid).
